If the next firmware is coming that soon then it is probably too late, but otherwise here is my wishlist. 1 ability to add copyright/author information to the exif of the file as it is saved 2 changing the size of the autofocus box rather than just the position 3 using touchscreen to snap the picture rather than just focus 4 capturing gps information from a linked phone even when I am taking a picture with the camera directly rather than the phone app remote. They may not be 1.2 but maybe 1.3? 2.0? These are a few of the functions that I have seen on other systems that should be technically pretty easy. As a 1st time Leica owner, I am curious as to whether Leica add extra features in FW updates or are they just fixes? not that I’m too bothered as I wanted the Q2 to be a simple to use camera with high quality end results! I would like to see some form of focus stacking though, which would make the macro feature more usable. Owning the Q2 makes me realise just how damned good the Olympus is though. Of course it doesn't have the caché and the build quality is nothing like as good, but it's a fine camera the EM1 and takes lovely photos. And features galore of course. I am with you that I love the simplicity of the Q2, but there are a few things lacking / wrong IMO. Not being able to do back button focus without holding the button in all the time - for example - is frankly ridiculous. That needs fixing. T25UFO Posted January 26, 2020 Share #9 Posted January 26, 2020 I would like to see the ability to take photos while connected to the Fotos App - i.e., not restricted to using the phone as a remote. The M10 can be used in this way and transfers new photos to the phone or iPad. Maybe this has something to do with the connection method - bluetooth for Q2 and wi-fi for M10.
