Michael Geschlecht Posted January 8, 2020 Share #2 Posted January 8, 2020 Hello Stuart, Nice photo. Red tailed hawks are native to the New York Metropolitan area, among other places. They like to snack on pigeons, among other things. Best Regards, Michael
Michael Geschlecht Posted January 8, 2020 Share #3 Posted January 8, 2020 (edited) Hello Again Stuart, Did you notice the Meet Up in New York City in March 2020 under "Events & Member Meetings"? allamande Posted January 9, 2020 Share #4 Posted January 9, 2020 That is spectacular! We have a lot of them around here, but every sighting is a special event anyway. Ece
stuny Posted January 9, 2020 Author Share #5 Posted January 9, 2020 Ece, Mike, Paul & Robert - Thank you. Michael - Thank you. Yes, I've seem in Manhattan, but this was about 25 kilometers west. Some runners who passed as I was shooting said they'd seen them on their deck earlier in the week. I replied to the "meet-up" message with rather limited hours in which I could join. I hope to meet you there.
