Advertisement Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Hi andybarton, Take a look here Mid way through a stroll in the park. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cocker Posted August 6, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 6, 2007 If that's your idea of a stroll lets not go to the Lake district for our Autumn North West outing!!! Nice picture.
andybarton Posted August 6, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted August 6, 2007 Don't worry, Keith. If we go to The Lakes, it won't be up Scafell Pike. Been there...
jmr Posted August 6, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 6, 2007 Andy, nice shot; but I'm with Keith - the flatter bits sound quite exciting enough to me.
andybarton Posted August 7, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted August 7, 2007 Time to start thinking about a date for this expedition... I'll do a general call in the Meetings section. I have a decent low level walk, complete with pub, in mind, or one slightly more adventurous, for those so inclined (this second one was done with some friends a couple of years ago, one lady in the party did it immediately after recovering froma broken leg, so it's not too difficult.) I managed to arrange for a herd of deer to be available last time Langdale is the second one. ddp Posted August 7, 2007 Share #6 Posted August 7, 2007 Nice one Andy...warms me heart to see film stuff! Got that distinctive look that you're not gonna get with (well, you know!) The M is a nice camera to take on hikes, especially that lens combo.
andybarton Posted August 7, 2007 Author Share #7 Posted August 7, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Certainly makes a lot more sense than a DMR combo I am standing on the highest point in England while taking this shot. Leica UK are fettling my M2 even as I type, as the shutter has drifted out again. I will have to replace it one of these days, and will probably stick with a film one. elansprint72 Posted August 8, 2007 Share #9 Posted August 8, 2007 I was thinking this was the top of Lingmell; before I scrolled further down the shot and then read the comments. High/low, let's just go.
carylwithay Posted August 12, 2007 Share #10 Posted August 12, 2007 Beautiful spot. The only way you would get me there for a stroll is by helicopter LOL Caryl
