Asking for a friend Use 10.14.6 as long as possible. 10.15. makes a lot of trouble. A colleague of mine replayed a Carbon copy of his 10.14.6 after an update to catalina. A lots of issues with Adobe CC too.… I use to update not earlier that half a year after others report a safe and bugfree working from new OS.
hmarkweidman Posted January 13, 2020 Share #9 Posted January 13, 2020 My SL2 tethers fine to an Apple iMac running Mojave v10.14.6. In the LEICA SL2 window there are three icons just above the "Camera Settings" menu. I have attached a screen shot of same. The first icon appears to be a key, so, I assume it locks the settings (?). I have no idea what the middle icon is for. The third icon (right) seems to indicate the camera is actually linked to the computer; but, I am not certain about that. Can anyone identify the functions of these three icons for me? The images appear relatively quickly in Adobe Bridge and of course the Live View is almost instant. Thanks. caissa Posted January 14, 2020 Share #10 Posted January 14, 2020 It's very old knowledge: Let other users try the bleeding edge. And stay on older levels of the OS. The "unimportant" applications (like image processing) are usually the ones that were not thoroughly tested before an upgrade. Only switch when there is confirmation, that the upgrade has not caused any problems (usually a few months later).

verwackelt Posted February 3, 2020 Share #16 Posted February 3, 2020 Some coworkers have issues with Adobe CC some others not. Seems to depend on what kind of hardware configuration each one has running… It is very important to do a fresh total Backup from your System HD with CCC before updating. if update makes trouble you can easy go back to 10.14.
