Hi, I sent my M-D 262 to Leica a year ago for service. Haven’t used it that much since then. However I dropped the battery and it cracked the black casing. Battery does work fine. Now though every time I look through the viewfinder first thing in red numbers is 5d then I press the shutter and it reads 3.0. It will not even let me change the date anymore. Strangest thing ever and yes I tried every mode on the dial. Not sure what 3.0 is telling me. Any suggestions? and thank you.

Rotate the thumb wheel until it reads “0”

OBP,

To help you, I have these in the M-D (typ 262) viewfinder when "ON".

5d ( meaning SD card fault ) showed when I took the SD card out.

6'0" blinking with arrow ">" between 6 and 0, when I push the shutter button and lens capped,

meaning 60 seconds long if releasing the shutter.

First I'd replace the SD card, in your place.
