wooferdog Posted November 24, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted November 24, 2019 Regular PLAY button on the back ...... even toggling still does not give an option of showing which lens was used (as the SL does) 50 Apo SL was the lens.

While the lens information is stored in the EXIF, lens names are typically too long to be displayed efficiently on LCD.
wooferdog Posted November 24, 2019 Author Share #9 Posted November 24, 2019 Maybe there a misunderstanding here , The SL on play image after shot taken has two lines across the bottom of the screen The top (of the two) reads 22/11/19 75mm. 17:31:23 (date , lens , time) ... the lens is missing from the SL2. I see, you are missing the focal length from the review screen. You do not expect it to say, e.g., Summicron or Summilux. It is indeed strange that you cannot see the focal length when reviewing the image.
dem331 Posted December 17, 2019 Share #11 Posted December 17, 2019 Yes, I noticed this. I also don’t think it shows the focal length used with zooms. Rather surprising
