Do you know a camera that does that? While the lens information is stored in the EXIF, lens names are typically too long to be displayed efficiently on LCD.

The top (of the two) reads 22/11/19     75mm.     17:31:23 (date , lens , time) ... the lens is missing from the SL2.

I see, you are missing the focal length from the review screen. You do not expect it to say, e.g.,  Summicron or Summilux.

It is indeed strange that you cannot see the focal length when reviewing the image.
