He is a more than willing subject and will pose for for is photo for as long as I am interested in photographing him. I am continually amazed by the quality of the 35 summilux lens. This photo was taken hand held 1/30, 1.4 at 800 iso. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Guest Posted November 18, 2019 Share #5 Posted November 18, 2019 Nice picture. Is it the FLE summilux. Could the same pic be taken just as well with the summicron or summarit or an iphone? I have the 35mm f2.4 summarit but no parrot or iphone.

I have never seen it myself but im told a blurry background can now be created on a phone. Its not relevant to me as im not a fan of of the bokeh craze,i wish the parrot was sharp throughout but its still a nice photo.

So you like sharpness everywhere really? Little difference between photography and reprography then. Not my cup of tea but YMMV.

See i think the bokeh thing is so over egged that its become boring, but some pics in certain situations can benefit from that particular look. This one has been shot at f/5.6 for instance but i do like mixing sharpness and blur in my pics so the OoF rendering is important for me. YMMV (your mileage may vary) again. Welcome, dear visitor! I think my pictures appear terrible to them because I love both bokeh and vignetting. lol
