Info about my Lens

Hello All. 

I have a Summicron 28mm 2.0 Aspherical Lens. The model on the lens is "4068358" 

Does anyone have info about this specific version?

The number is the serial number (not model number) which will tell you all you want to know.

it's serial number that you show ...

This link to Wiki says it was manufactured in 2007 -2008 .

What else do you want to know ?

I use one as this for years (serial 3 94x xxx, so from 2002 ), it's a very good Summicron-M 28mm,

Leica replaced this Summicron-M 28mm some years ago with new design to use the screw-in square hood.

I have this lens and really enjoy it on my M9

I upgraded the hood to Model 12466 which I prefer to the square one.These are hard to find.
