SL2, 90-280 at 280, f/4.  Screengrab of a pixel expansion of a multi shot image of a star (sorry I don't know which one, I live in Reading UK and frankly the sky is so full of light pollution it is a wonder we can see anything some times).  I was wondering whether the time taken to do the multi-shot, would result in noticeable streaking, and actually I rather like the abstract effect:

Love the color palette

Thanks Olaf

just realised I posted in SL2 when it SL2S. Looking at the image here on my phone. It seems a bit dark. Might check the colour space and or shift sliders a bit and repost. It looks pretty good on my eizo screen.

Ken,   IMO, I wouldn't do a thing to your superb photograph in post # 8534.   The light, color, texture, shadow and especially the content have all the hallmarks of a masterpiece photograph.  A masterpiece photograph that makes me the viewer; Stop, Look, Think and yes, even Feel something about that moment in time.  Bravo!   r/ Mark

Thanks for your reassuring comment Mark. I really appreciate it. Yes, I had a look at it and everything was good as you say and nothing to add or change. It was viewing the image on the phone in less than ideal light that made me have second thoughts. I am delighted with the way this image turned out. The dng file shows a virtually dark shadow area within the hoody but there was quite a bit of detail available care of the SL2S sensor.
