My 100 year old father-in-law taking pictures in Yosemite a few weeks ago.  He still pulls his 5th wheel when we go camping.  Amazing guy.

Like WOW! to use a southern California phrase.  I really like this. The bird is a very nice touch and it even in the reflection.  Planned or a fortunate photo bomb?

it's a photomontage..but sumtil..
it was 6.00 am.. spooky at the fishing pier..
I said something was missing - there came the bird .. only in my thoughts
the sun rose and the magic wore off...

I see some Yosemite campgrounds are closed again for flooding.  We lucked out when we were there a week earlier than usual even if the dogwood were not in bloom yet.  They were just starting the day we had to leave for the first flood closure.
