How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

OK.  I have a question for you.   I have used my Q2 for astrophotography and am mostly satisfied, but I have notice at the corners there is rather pronounced comma.  I returned my Q2 and got another one and the same thing.  Did I get two bad copies of the lens or does your images show the same thing?  Could you post 1:1 sections of the corners vs the center stars?  I am curious.  I could post some of mine, but on the road for another week.  When I get home I might do that.

Interesting, as I see liking such a post as an aggregate evaluation and any comments on it can reference the photo I like best. In any case, I find it irritating when someone posts several photos in a row in separate posts. It feels like the thread is being spammed. Just spread them out a bit and let others post in between.

This is a really nice shot.  The composition and the lighting is beautifully captured.  My only complaint is that I see what appears to be a processing halo around the front post like you lightened the post and some of the processing bled over into the sky.  If that is the case, you might try fine tuning it a bit more, then I would print this photo very large and admire the work you have done.  Love it.
