How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Thank you for enjoying my photos.
They are all made in my region (La Beauce) and especially in the middle of large cereal fields.
Each of these images are "thought" in B&W as soon as the shot is taken and the conversion is thus made easier...

when I walk around the city at night I always see these wild flowers.

they begged me to take a picture, so I obeyed. 

I love the wild nature that mixes with they city to something new.

Dan the artist in his Marin County studio. This image is part of a series of artists in studios, the others of which I posted in the Portraits section of the forum. The others were shot with an M, but this was shot with my Q2. All were shot wide open, but it sure was easier to get the focus right with the autofocus Q2 than with the manual focus M and a Summilux lens at f/1.4. 😉
