How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Started the day above at the Willow Tree. Not letting the virus scare keep me from enjoying life. Strolled over to the National Gallery from home. It was a pleasant 20 minute walk under beautiful weather. Could not resist a capitol shot on the way home.

This, and the photograph you posted on the Q image page are absolutely stunning. Emile Zola would surely nod with approval, particularly the clouds as metaphor. I’m curious to know how much post production work you did and if you used a particular program?

Navy Yard Washington DC. This is the $55 Million building finished recently which houses the DC Water headquarters. The building has the odd feature that it forms an image of itself. This morning I noticed that not only can it produce an image of itself, but it can bring in the surrounding sunrise colors as a backdrop. My guess is that the designers of the building didn't intend for their structure to have such a self-imaging capability.

Rainy day. the original image before export  does not have this much tone of cyan. Can anyone tell me how to reflect the same tone.
