Nothing later than v1.0. The SL's firmware was recently upgraded to v3.6, partially to improve compatibility with third party lenses.

It is Sigma's responsibility to upgrade the Fp camera's firmware to enhance compatibility with third party lenses as well. I would reach out to Sigma Support.

Since the L Mount Alliance is relatively new, it is less risky, IMO to stay with Leica lenses for the Leica cameras, Panasonic/Lumix lenses for Lumix cameras and so on.

The only caveat is that Leica and Panasonic have been technology partners for quite some time, so these two may interoperate better together than with Sigma.

As the "L" Mount matures and more firmware revisions are released, things will likely improve.

thanks...no desire to switch from Leica lenses to Sigma lenses for this one body. The entire purpose of the alliance is for cross compatibility, if they aren't going to be compatible then there is no point in the Alliance.

I already sent a message to Sigma, hopefully this is resolved sooner rather than later. For now my M lenses work fine...no update needed :)

Is there any later firmware (than v1.0) for the 35mm Summicron SL lens?

I am having issues with the Sigma fp camera...the camera locks up when this lens is attached.

Wow!! That sucks. Does it happen every time you attach the lens? Is it usable at all??

I agree... the whole point of the alliance is cross compatibility between the three companies. I use my SL glass on the Panasonic S1, with no issues. Hopefully they get it sorted out quickly.

completely unusable. The fp just locks up...I've contacted Sigma support, hopefully we get a quick fw update

Really ridiculous that they don't test other company's L mount glass prior to launch.
