I wonder iof anyone out there has an Arte Di Mano, Angelo Pelle or Luigi case for their Leica SL? Does it improve the handling or does it make the camera too big?

I know that the SL is all aluminum, and although it has a nice grip, it can be a tad slick sometimes.

Comments are welcomed.

Thanks

The arte di Mano is beautiful and a very snug fit. Unfortunately I tend to use an l bracket all the time and a hand grip/strap so it had been recently sold. Generally I’ve found Luigi and Pelle tend to use leather that is a bit thick for my liking. Arte workmanship and finish is by far the best of the three.

I love my Arte di Mano Case and strap.

The Arte da Mano looks very nice. Personally I am more often surprised that I can hang the SL so easily and safe on two or three fingers, than that I find it slick. Even with a quite long and heavy lense as the APO Elmarit 180 R. Perhaps it  varies with how dry one’s hands are and the wheather/climate where you roam. I’d be afraid that with the half case it would slip of my fingers, unless the leather has been used a lot already.

Today I have received 'no name" half case for my SL from eBay.  It looks good and just $56. No need to remove the case for to change the battery or to remove the SD cards.
