Glad your enjoying your Q2 and its a very interesting camera without a doubt although i am very happy with my m262 and small selection of lenses. The macro feature was a stroke of genius by leica without a doubt. I do enjoy the Q2 Macro option alot for plants and animals. Right now i using M10 with 35mm f2 and Q2 28mm. I do have 50mm f2 lens but i dont really use it. I am considering a 35mm f1.4 lens and still pondering. Switch from Q2 to M10... not easy to learn the RF function and manual focus on M10. Still learning to use the M10.
Advertisement Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 Hi charles tay, Take a look here Q + M -- does it make sense? . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Aldophoto Posted August 22, 2021 Share #42 Posted August 22, 2021 I don't want to sound like a heretic but... since I also have problems with focusing with the 90mm APO with the M10-P... what do you think about combining the M10-P + Summilux 35mm Aspherical combo (yes the one with 2 aspherical lens) with a Nikon Z6 II + Novoflex adapter for the 90mm? Is it really a heresy? thanks for your reply Aldo

What M lenses do you have? 2. What do you use most and / or only? 3. Withs the Q2 and the MP you can easy crop the picture

IBIS and magnified liveview on the Z6 make manual focussing and handheld shooting a breeze.

I am 62 and only used auto-focus for 18 months with my olympus pen and could not really get used to it although i noticed in a camera shop it was quicker than the Q[ version 1 ] to focus. Probably best to keep the Q2 while you get up to speed with your RF focus technique . I own a 50mm summicrom v5 which i do not use that much but when i do it produces nice images. charles tay Posted August 27, 2021 Share #47 Posted August 27, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) So far i carry my Q2 w 28mm lens and shoot M10 with 90mm f2 APO. Q2 can do the wide angle and while M10 can do the zoom in shooting. I do wish M10 had the in built image stabilisation.
