RobM Posted August 22, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 22, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'd love to use my four Bronica-Zenzanon lenses with my M Monochrom. I can use them with my Sigma SD Quattro with a Fotodiox adapter, but they don't make one for the M mount. Any ideas about how this might be achieved? Cheers, Rob
Advertisement Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 Hi RobM, Take a look here Zenzanon SQ lens to M-mount adapter?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
mmradman Posted August 22, 2019 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2019 It may be a matter of stacking two adapters to achieve required coupling. If you can find. Sigma SD to M adapter you have the solution, eBay is your friend here. Just wondering, fitting medium format lens (assuming big/biggish) to M body (compact), is that good way to use the the camera unless curiosity is strong. RobM Posted August 22, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted August 22, 2019 You are right, I wasn't thinking about the 200mm. That would be too much, but the others might be useable. The attraction of old-ish glass with the Monochrom I find very interesting.
mmradman Posted August 22, 2019 Share #4 Posted August 22, 2019 WRemind me which monochrome you have, M9M or M246, with the former you can focus only RF coupled lenses, otherwise it is a guesswork, the latter has either add-on EVF or rear live view screen so non native lenses of any focal length could b3 utilised. RobM Posted August 23, 2019 Author Share #5 Posted August 23, 2019 M9M. Ah. Okay. That's a problem. Thanks for pointing it out.
jankap Posted August 23, 2019 Share #6 Posted August 23, 2019 In theory one could imagine a lens booster MF to FF. That would give a f/stop extra and a more WA focus to the lens. Jan
