Marac Posted November 26, 2019 Share #21 Â Posted November 26, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) In my recent 'gear cull' I sold my grip (as well as a lot of lenses/adapters) but kept the thumbs-up and leather Leica case for my CL. That is my personal preferred system but each to their own I guess. Â
nicci78 Posted November 26, 2019 Share #22  Posted November 26, 2019 That's the beauty about Leica cameras such as M10, Q2, CL et other one. We have the choice : thumb rest, handgrip or half case. Whatever suits you.
lct Posted November 26, 2019 Share #23  Posted November 26, 2019 Matter of morphology i guess. I turn the left dial with the index finger alone the same way as i did for 30+ years with the shutter speed dial of M cameras. I don't need a handgrip this way but a thumb rest is mandatory for me. YMMV.
