John Robinson Posted March 23, 2022 Share #103 Posted March 23, 2022 For some reason, this image makes me think of Kodachrome (except it is perhaps a little too sharp in the fine detail). Part of the effect is the contrast of the Carl Zeiss Distagon 2,8/28 (Japan, C/Y mount). The camera is the Leica SL (601) that produces quite flat files with a long dynamic range, which can be adjusted in many different directions. If I dig around, I can show the settings I used to get this effect. Kodachrome, of course, is pure nostalgia for an emulsion that no longer exists except in the archives. I used to think the M8 files reminded me of Ektachrome and the M9 Kodachrome. Might be somewhere to start? Welcome, dear visitor! LCL999 Posted March 28, 2022 Share #104 Posted March 28, 2022 I've got hundreds of Kodachrome slides going back to the early 1950s. How many do you want. And what sort of subjects?
