Popular Post frogfish Posted June 16, 2019 Popular Post Share #1  Posted June 16, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) So finally got my kit together,  after some trial and error, a crashed M7 and adapting new to old gear I got what I feel is the right fit for me: Two M2s, a 35 and a 50, off-camera flash and a red-filter. Looking forward to my next wedding...  heiko   Welcome, dear visitor! a.noctilux Posted June 17, 2019 Share #4  Posted June 17, 2019 (edited) Heiko, Nice kit, portable and must be effective to your wedding photos. For what use is the red filter ? 1/50 flash syncho. must limit you to some kind of film, which ones are they ? Two M2s, one "button" and the other "lever" ! Seen that kit before ... but with two Summarit-M 35-50 Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! no flash good kit with wrist straps on one (I don't know why) Edited June 17, 2019 by a.noctilux
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! no flash good kit with wrist straps on one (I don't know why) ' data-webShareUrl='https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/298378-my-new-reportage-kit/?do=findComment&comment=3761145'>
Mute-on Posted June 17, 2019 Share #5  Posted June 17, 2019 Perfect combination of the best Leica film M cameras (IMO) and two of the most versatile focal lengths. Wonderful. Enjoy, Heiko!
Archiver Posted June 17, 2019 Share #6 Â Posted June 17, 2019 If only I had the guts and skill to do paid work with two film Ms. Great kit. Can I ask how many rolls you shoot per wedding, and what proportion you would consider keepers?

I use either BW Ilford Hp5 or Fuji color 200 with flash, both (!) pushed to 1600.  heiko

Can I ask how many rolls you shoot per wedding, and what proportion you would consider keepers? At a 12 hours wedding I shoot about 600-700 images, mixed B&W and color. Except for some portraits I work strictly in reportage style. About 400 are keepers.  heiko

I don't shoot weddings, but when I did one, I took about 1100 digital images over 12 hours, and gave 110 to the bride and groom.
abrewer Posted June 26, 2019 Share #20  Posted June 26, 2019 I've always thought that for a wedding photographer there can be few more effective means of separating from a crowded field of digicam-wielding, nuptials-snapping wanna-be's than to offer the option of a classic film camera and sell that unique film "look" to the bride and her mother. Great work and shrewd marketing, friend. Continued success I hope.
