jwestman Posted May 29, 2019 Share #1 Posted May 29, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is anyone using pCloud to expand mobile storage? I downloaded it today and tried to use it with Lightroom cc on my iPad. It apparently takes a learning curve. The Foot app does not work to import images from the camera. I resorted to downloading from the card onto my mac and then moving them to pCloud. That sort of defeats my purpose of being able to take the Q on the road with an iPad pro for a light weight 2 month travel experience. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. j

I own but never use the card reader. I edit the images using Polarr on the iPad and save to the iPad photos service. I don’t carry a MacBook when I’m travelling and I haven’t used lightroom recently. The workflow is ideal and I haven’t used my MacBook for three months. i edit the image in the free version of Polarr available in the AppStore. you can incorporate Pcloud into your workflow. Exodies Posted June 4, 2019 Share #6 Posted June 4, 2019 This sort of thing will get simpler with IOS 13. Apps will be able to import directly from a card reader. For example LR will not have to go through Photos.
jwestman Posted July 1, 2019 Author Share #7 Posted July 1, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Great picture. I am on the road now with only an iPad and my Q. It is working well using pCloud for storage, Lightroom CC and Photoshop Express for editing. Starting to get the hang of it.
