The 50/1.2 Noctilux is a remake of the 1966 lens and 'sharpness' at the centre is not its strength so it's perhaps not surprising that you were disappointed. Pete. verwackelt Posted May 1, 2022 Share #1677 Posted May 1, 2022 I find even the lux at 1.4 or 2.0 is often too wide opened when a close portrait should have eyes AND Nosetip in focus. You will probably have to use the aperture ring a little more often...
