haha @Peter Kilmister I understand what you say about the Noctilux f0.95 it's a lens which I don't use much often I rather use my 50 APO (as you do too) because the 50 APO is way better in controlling a photo and you are sure something is in focus. The Noct f.095 is my specialty lens which I use on occasions and when I know I go for limited DOF shots. Thank you a lot for your words about this photo! Take care my friend. Wishing you all the best for the next year, and hope to see you again in 2020!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I admire Milan's 'young eye' advantage compared with aged people trying to focus a very difficult lens designed for a teenager's eye and twenties muscles.

Other than that I have to say the Noctilux 0.95 is for most people a very expensive, heavy, ungainly, really useless lens. Can I soften that? I doubt it.

A bit of perspective: for “most” people, your Leica camera is an over-priced, anachronistic, elitist and useless piece of metal. But that’s probably because they don’t know what to do with it. And you probably don’t care what they think.

Don’t feed it, please.

Amazing yellow, cyan and blue tones with deep shadows.. This photograph reveals most of the characteristics of the Noctilux f1. Congrats, Patty!..

Thanks so much for the comments Metin. Your encouragement and understanding of this creative glass is a tremendous help in making the 'journey'. I learn something from this lens every time I pick it up. Always an adventure. :0)  A Happy New Year to you!
