Hope this helps you out. Dave, Thanks for posting. Reviews come and go as new cameras come out and claim the limelight. It's nice to hear you actually still use your X 113. Let us know if your new Monochrome review does find light of day. David

Ko.Fe. Posted August 5, 2020 Share #25 Posted August 5, 2020 Any not very old digital Leica camera is good as something nice to use. All X series are, IMO.
Peter_S Posted August 6, 2020 Share #26 Posted August 6, 2020 Simplicity can be a charm, and the X series excels at that. It is a shame Leica stopped the series. I firmly believe the X1 was one their best cameras, and I think the 113 is as well. The Q is all fine and such, but that price tag...
pr1uk Posted October 9, 2020 Share #27 Posted October 9, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have just bought a X1 (2020) paid a cheap price as the internal battery as gone so you need to enter the time after every battery change. It came with the viewfinder as I cannot take photos just using the rear screen and the attachable hand grip with I don't use to me I just don't need it does not feel right. It is my first German made Leica and so far I love it. Yes not as fast as my modern camera but I like the quickness of it and love the simply way you can set it up. I only shoot black and white and the results I have got makes me want to use this camera more and more. The camera looks fantastic feels great and takes wonderful shots and available at good prices. Would recommend the X1 as a first real Leica Camera to buy and try, OK when I win the lottery I will buy a Q2, when :-)
wda Posted October 9, 2020 Share #28 Posted October 9, 2020 (edited) Welcome to Leica ownership, pr1uk. If the need arises, Leica UK can carry out small repairs in London. Contact them via their customer services, details on their website. Enjoy your good 'oldie'. Edited October 9, 2020 by wda
