smartbot Posted March 20, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 20, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Leica Rumors just posted a comparison (from Photons To Photos) of the Leica Q2 sensor vs Q1 and it found that it was more noisy. Has anyone noticed this in their photos? Welcome, dear visitor! The source of the graph writes: "These raw values are not appropriate for comparing camera models because they are not adjusted for gain or area." We need to wait for data in "Photographic Dynamic Range Chart" to do any comparisons.
tnturnerx1 Posted March 22, 2019 Share #3 Posted March 22, 2019 I was wondering about the same Leica Rumors bit. All of the graphs shown, except for some short segments, showed the Q2 not faring very well w/respect to the competitors (including Q1). But SrMi's qualification is a consideration I'll have to watch for. Thanks

Dynamic Range vs ISO below - looks like the page was just updated http://www.photonstophotos.net/Charts/PDR.htm#Leica Q (Typ 116),Leica Q2 Interesting similar characteristics except at ISO 400.
