I don't know if something had changed.

In warranty period (shorter now with two years, five years some time ago) if something went wrong, in my case Leica took care of the 'real flaws'.

 

Good news, when I had my Monochrom needing sensor replacement after legal warranty of two years, it was done FOC.

Some changes occured ...

 

Maybe in buyer/user camp, some wrote here to complain before contacting Leica for services.
