Rona!d Posted February 16, 2019 Share #3 Posted February 16, 2019 I like it, although the upper crop is a bit too tight for the steel ladder grips.

mikozia Posted February 17, 2019 Author Share #6 Posted February 17, 2019 This proves that most Leica photographers are fun loving bunch. I'll keep it a secret as to why I chose such a tight crop to hide something on the upper right.
Rona!d Posted February 25, 2019 Share #7 Posted February 25, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I wouldn´t discuss "hidden/cropped out elements" but discuss graphical aspects. There are some nice elements in the photo: diagonal pool wall 4ft sign blue snow/ice hole in the ice snow outside the pool shape of the steel ladder Something disturbs me: too tight upper crop cut in the dark non-snow zones in the upper edge As listed above there are enough interesting elements in the picture and cropping away even more elements is the right choice. If there would be some more snow above the steel ladder and no dark zones which had been cut and are running outside the frame, I´d be even more happy with this nice photograph.
