Mr.Q Posted January 31, 2019 Share #81 Posted January 31, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well, scrolling down further and reading his replies to the comments, he does mention that it was easier dealing with the Swedes (Hasselblad) than it was the Chinese (DJI). So there's that.

PeterGA Posted January 31, 2019 Share #82 Posted January 31, 2019 Maybe dji - know more about how to run a business than Ming does ? I know I know - difficult to believe.

verwackelt Posted January 31, 2019 Share #85 Posted January 31, 2019 Or they just want to use the name Hasselblad to promote their drones better but do not improve the X1D in the way a photographer want.

However, one needs engineers to do this - not marketers and flim flam bloggers.
Mr.Q Posted January 31, 2019 Share #88 Posted January 31, 2019 After a week of usage I gotta say I love the UI and handling of the X1D. The files are gorgeous. Main weakness seems to be operational speed. If those engineers manage to spinkle some of that Sony A9 e-shutter, EVF and AF technology into the X2D it would be hard to beat.
frame-it Posted January 31, 2019 Share #89 Posted January 31, 2019 wonder if this is true or just another guesswork video
verwackelt Posted January 31, 2019 Share #90 Posted January 31, 2019 Big Battery in that small body? What about cooling the Sensor for LE? Cooling need space for that. Still no focal plane shutter? depends on e-shutter for most adapted lenses i think the X2D will be much bigger almost like the GFX100S.
caissa Posted January 31, 2019 Share #91 Posted January 31, 2019 (edited) Latest rumors show that the S1R offers with ultra high resolution mode the equivalent of 187 Megapixel, while the S1 offers still 96 Megapixel. https://www.mirrorlessrumors.com/ https://www.l-rumors.com/l5-panasonic-s1-will-cost-2499-and-s1r-will-cost-3699-youi-have-to-pay-to-get-4k30-10bit-internal/ I think it will be a lot of fun to try that out with the Leica SL APO Summicrons.... 👍👏 Edited January 31, 2019 by caissa

If the S2 is around 50 megapixels the GFX goes - when the 100MP version comes out - it goes anyway. The SL and its lenses - will never go. Welcome, dear visitor!
