I'm in the process of scanning some OLD negatives so I can turn the original material over to my State Historical Society. This is a portrait of Studs Terkel, who was a great writer and columnist from Chicago. He was one of the coolest people I ever photographed.

Nicely captured.  I read one of his books several years ago but the name of it escapes me.  You must have a wonderful career to shoot such great artists.

Thank you. I was in the right place at the right time and did have a wonderful career. Lots of great memories. My cameras (Leicas) enabled me to meet presidents, famous actors, writers, musicians, athletes and a lot of ordinary people with extraordinary stories. It's hard for me to imagine having a better life.
