I am sticking to my M Lenses and looking at picking up the 90 M APO seeing the 75 Noctilux out of my range.

I love the SL and prefer manual operation and focusing. The M rangefinder camera is also hard to beat and see myself probably buying the M10 or later versions.

I have an adapter that I want to be sure covers the front element. I do not live anywhere close in order to try one out.

Were you able to get the measurements? Thanks,

I just purchased a used 7 month old SL 75mm on Ebay for $3250.  That felt like the right price, but as I mainly purchase new lenses, I really don't know.  I have been using my M and R lenses on the SL (love the way the R's work), but felt at least one AF lens would be useful.

Finally got out with the 75 Summicron-SL this afternoon ... oh, my.  What a lovely lens!  Jono, all is forgiven. Will post something, if any are worth it.

Nice size and handling on the SL, lightning fast AF. Overall, very nice in the hand.
