Â Actually the Zenit M is a Leica M (Typ 240), the appearance of which was slightly modified by Leica following Shvabe / KMZ guidelines and which is manufactured by Leica and their contractors ('Made in Germany') on behalf of Shvabe / KMZ, proudly displaying 'Designed in Krasnogorsk, Russia' and bundled with a Zenitar 35mm f/1 in M mount, a lens designed and manufactured by KMZ following Leica standards (so they say).
