Another Silly Apple Question

I'm trying to save files to a CD but can't find that option on the Apple using photoshop CS3. I never had a problem doing this on the PC but that choice just doesn't seem to be available when saving with the Apple. I'm sure it's there somewhere, so I'll appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Wilfredo

Once you recall that Burn Folder is the key, it is easy. Until then, . . . .

This should work:

Open the Burn Folder on your desktop (or, in the Finder, File|New Burner Folder). From the Finder copy the files you want copied into the Burn Folder. Click the Burn box toward the upper right in the folder. You'll be asked for a disk.

Hope this helps.

NO such thing as a silly question. There are a couple of different ways to do this; Craig has one way.

You can also insert a disc, Mac will ask you what you want to do with it, Say" open in finder".

Then when you're ready to save images, Click - File>Save As>Select your disc ("untitled CD" or DVD) Then click "SAVE"

once you've finished saving all your images just right click [control+click] on the disci icon on the dektop and select "BURN DISC".

I've also been very happy with software called Roxio Toast. Works very efficiently.

It was reported a few weeks ago at the MacFixIt Web site that each icon you leave on your desktop is actually treated as a window by the window manager in Mac OS X. It is not a good idea to leave a lot of files or folders on your desktop, because overwhelming the window manager can degrade performance. Having written this, I now suspect you will have your desktop cleaned up before I have mine cleaned up.
