i bought the TL2 to use with my Canon 100-400 lens. Whilst the 90-280 and 105-280 lenses are damn fine lenses for 2/3 the range, they cannot match above 300. I can still swap out the TL2 for a CL2. 

There is no CL2 yet...

That must be version 2. I had the first version and could not get rid of it fast enough. I hated the image quality, the AF and the dust pumping.

Yes, I have the II version - much improved over the first. Image quality - not enough yet to decide if there are any settings i dislike.

That's very optimistic, I hope you're right, as far as I know there has been no announcement just rumour, and not much of that actually.
