Allan - Google her and look at her images to wistfully dream of times past. CBGB closed in '06 and Patti Smith was the last to play there. It was added to the registry of historic places (or some such) a year or two later, and the location became a couple of fashion stores, and then other businesses. The name appeared in places like Las Vegas, and most remarkably, in Terminal C at Newark Liberty Airport as a restaurant not even remotely on a par with where we ate together. 2 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
