The rendering of the images are indistinguishable. I made some photos today (tripod, same apertures 2; 2.8; and 4.0, etc) with v4 and v5. The first photo is the Summicron v4 at f2.0. Second is v5 at f2.0. Welcome, dear visitor! I openend both photos on my computer and switched between the two for a minute or two (ALT+Tab), and yes you are right, it looks slightly more contrasty which suprises me😲.
