Just recently joined up but I've been using R lenses adapted to various Canon DSLRs for a long time.  I've always loved the "magic" they can add to an image over what I usually get with my Canon glass.

Recently started having issues seeing with the DSLR's to manually focus via the viewfinders so I added a nice used Leica SL to my kit.  First real outing with it and the wonderful EVF were eye opening.  It's like I'm back in the game again.

I shot over 600 shots at a local farmer's market just as a test of the SL and some of my R lenses.  Mainly using the 180/3.4 but some also with the 135/2.8 and the 90/2.8.  I honestly missed focus on a very small percentage of the shots, so happy with this new setup.    I'll still shoot the R lenses on the DSLR's in certain situations but being able to use them on the SL is just a total game changer for me.

A sampling from the first "test" shoot.  All of them cropped some as I was set up on a tripod at the edge of this large field of flowers.  These lenses are not holding the camera back at all.
