Guest VVJ Posted June 20, 2018 Share #1  Posted June 20, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Perhaps of interest to some people using vintage screw mount lenses.  I recently bought the Kipon Leica L39 screw mount to Leica SL adapter. It works with the Leica T/TL2/CL as well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LWPK15Q/  I bought it through Amazon (fulfilled by Adorama) but it is available on eBay as well. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kipon-Leica-M39-mount-L39-lens-to-Leica-SL-camera-adapter-T-Typ-701-SL-Typ-601-/331888281508  So basically only one adapter required, no need for stacking. As far as I know this is the only direct adapter. Guest VVJ Posted June 22, 2018 Share #4  Posted June 22, 2018 No, image magnification works on both CL and SL. I use the up and down arrows.

Guest VVJ Posted June 22, 2018 Share #6  Posted June 22, 2018 No, my M-to-L adapter does that but not this one. Why does it matter?
lct Posted June 22, 2018 Share #7  Posted June 22, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) No, my M-to-L adapter does that but not this one. Why does it matter?  Well it matters to me because i would not have bought a CL if there were only adapters like the Kipon. I use auto zoom regularly with M lenses and i expect my cameras to allow that w/o forcing me to unstick the eye from the viewfinder or juggling with any joystick or arrows (i don't even know how they work) behind the level of the top plate of the camera. YMMV.
jaapv Posted June 22, 2018 Share #8 Â Posted June 22, 2018 I'm with you 100%. The pinball system is a PITA, the thumbwheel (just?) acceptable.
lct Posted June 22, 2018 Share #9  Posted June 22, 2018 When i said "auto zoom" i meant image magnification sorry. Only M cameras allow auto zoom so far.
