While on a speed walk early Sunday morning as we crossed a bridge  we saw this clutch of very young ducklings, swimming and foraging, but we could not find their parents anywhere.  I hope they survive.

Maybe that's why they r heading toward you. Reflection in ripples seems to camo them quite well. Engrossing image.

Brent - Thank you and  .  Unfortunately, even if we could catch them and not raise the ire of the county sheriff there's still the issue of our working such long hours and going on extended vacations that we would come home to find them mummified.

We looked for them again early this morning but did not find them.  It could be they've just gone further up or down stream.
