Johnclare369 Posted May 24, 2018 Share #1 Posted May 24, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can anyone help me track down a 39mm Lee Filters adapter ring for my summicron f2 50mm? I have the adapters for two other lenses, but can;t find the 39mm. I need it for the 100mm Lee system, not the Seven5 system. I'm in London, UK. Thanks. 6bit Posted June 3, 2018 Share #3 Posted June 3, 2018 Have you emailed Lee Filters? They are very responsive.
pedaes Posted June 3, 2018 Share #4 Posted June 3, 2018 If you have no success try a 'step-up' ring. 39 to 46 readily available.
Tobers Posted June 4, 2018 Share #5 Posted June 4, 2018 Park Cameras in London have stacks of Lee gear including filter rings. As per above, you may need a step up. They have them too.
davidmknoble Posted June 6, 2018 Share #6 Posted June 6, 2018 Is anyone worried about putting the Lee system with heavy glass on the front of a small Leica M lens? (As opposed to the SL or S lenses)? Do you think it is too much weight for the focusing system?
strohscw Posted June 6, 2018 Share #7 Posted June 6, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I am using the Lee Seven5 System for my Leica M-System without any problem, but I think that You mean perhaps the 100mm System which I use only the DSLR but I think that even the 100mm System is not that heavy that You would run into problems as long as You are not using one of the Lee lens hoods. I am talking about the 4x4 inch system, which I think is 100mm. The graduated ND filters are larger to allow up and down adjustment, and I just wondered if anyone else had used this.... I don't even know if there is a smaller sized set... Thanks for responding!
6bit Posted June 11, 2018 Share #10 Posted June 11, 2018 I use the 100mm system. It weighs nothing. No worries and no stress. If anything, the M mount is stronger than other brands I have used.
