I took a road trip through the U.S. Southwest a couple weeks ago from San Francisco through Nevada and Utah and over to Colorado to drop my son off at college, then back New Mexico, Arizona, and Death Valley, CA with my daughter. Just wanted to see some sites and do some photography along the way. This was the first workout for my new (to me) Leica MA. One of the prettiest spots was the Alabama Hills in Lone Pine, CA. It's an image you see a lot since the composition is so obvious and has been used heavily by Hollywood since it's so easy to get to from L.A., but "Movie Road" looking back at Mt. Whitney at dawn is just an awesome site.

Leica M-A, Summicron APO 35mm @ f/5.6, 1/30s, Fujifilm Acros film rated at ISO 100.
