I love this and your website. You're an inspiration! And another classicist is most warmly welcomed! Please consider posting, especially your LF photos, here as well:

Huge thanks - will do. Apologies for the delay in replying - have been travelling for work (sadly without camera).

For those wondering about my Caffenol recipe (for 500ml):
21.6g supermarket washing soda crystals (decahydrate)
5g vitamin c powder
5g Iodised salt
20g instant coffee
Mix all these in separate beakers with water as follows, stirring to dissolve: ingredients 1-3 in 115ml water each; coffee in 153ml water.  When all dissolved individually, add sequentially to make approx 500ml. A cheap pair of micro digital scales from your favourite online retailer is necessary, as is a small sieve for the soda crystals, so as to avoid lumps. Weighing the water by grams is much easier than measuring by volume: do this first, then add the ingredients to each beaker. My scales go up to 200g so this is easy.
Other than pyro for 10x8 sheet film and sometimes for 120 I haven't used another any B&W developer since given how easy and fun this is.  Uses pretty large amounts of coffee, so I always have a spare jar to try to avoid running out. Everything else lasts for ages.
