I like the shades of gray.  What summicron version and what developer?

Thank you, Ray!
It was a dual range Summicron 50 from 1959 with B+W orange filter. It then had it developed by my local lab - they use Tetenal Superfin. Scanned with a Nikon Coolscan V ED flat. Slight curve in Capture One.

I am totally new (again) to film so still learning. I know I should develop the film myself some day… ☺️

I thought it was a DR.  Lots of info on the Forum about home developing.  It’s not hard to do.

Oh, no worries, I have read many articles and watched videos about home development. One day. I am just scared to death that I will mess up fiddling the film into the spool. This, to me, seems to be the most frightening bit.  ☺️

If you want to give it a go get hold of an out of date unwanted film and practice loading in daylight, you will soon get the hang of it.

Photoflex Film Changing Room. Pops up like a little tent and has sleeves on each side. A bit bigger than a dark bag but much easier to work in. Spend the extra money for Hewes spools if you're going to use stainless steel. The plastic tanks and reels are fine, just make sure they are dry before trying to load them. We live in a small house with no space for a traditional darkroom and even our one bathroom has a skylight but I've found a way to make it work with a minimal amount of gear and chemicals. Get an old roll, practice and don't be afraid of making mistakes.
