abrewer Posted March 8, 2018 Share #5 Posted March 8, 2018 Very nice, Stuart. Was "American Gothic" on display?
stuny Posted March 8, 2018 Author Share #6 Posted March 8, 2018 Mike - Thank you. Allan - Thank you, and yes it was, along with over 100 other pieces. If you're in NYC this spring it's worth the visit. I've added about 40 photos from the exhibit to our site (www.barbara-and-stu.com): Photo Galleries > New York City > NY Museums > Whitney. Photos from that exhibition begin at the very bottom of the 10th page. Most of the pieces are from small museums in the Midwest and from private collections, so the opportunity is unique.
abrewer Posted March 8, 2018 Share #7 Posted March 8, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thank you for the information, Stuart. As a matter of fact I have on my schedule a visit to the NY Auto Show the end of the month.
stuny Posted March 8, 2018 Author Share #8 Posted March 8, 2018 Let's see if we can meet. Every April I go to the auto show, though I think I'll not go at the end of March (due to work getting in the way - !@#$%!!). One of my fondest memories of that show is the release of the E Type in '61.
