Titanium M cameras, not just anodized like the M6 and M6TTL, but real, machined titanium pieces, are a beautiful thing.  Leica started with a single M7Ti for a middle-eastern customer, then followed with the 50th anniversary of the M M7's, a few very expensive MP's for a store in Japan, an M9 digital offering, and most recently the M-P in Titanium.  Alas the latest model is digital and based on a 6 year old release, so I am hesitant as digital doesn't have the enduring nature of a film M.  I would like to see a new Titanium film model, and I guess the M-A is the only one not represented and still in current production.  Any interest for an M-AT?

I think the M-A first saw the light of day in a limited edition stainless steel version ("Edition 100" or something like that) and has also been made with a hammertone finish (limited edition with a Noctilux celebrating 25 years of something or other). I'm sure Leica and/or one of the societies or distributors can contrive some pointless anniversary to issue a titanium version. It won't be on my wishlist.

Next year is 33 year’s since Haley’s Comet passed?

M-A titan has released! wow!

Not quite right, in my view.

We can not buy just the M-A titanium as plain M-A but the set along with titanium Apo-Summicron-M 50mm.

Good for Leica though, aiming to collectors can increase the income for the company.

Good to know that first buyers intend to use the set.
