Advertisement (gone after registration)

Both photos taken with the same exposure settings: 1/90s, ISO 640, f/4.0.

In both photos in the Lightroom I set: Exposure +3,00 EV (equivalent to ISO 5000), Noise reduction (Luminance 20, Color 40), Sharpening 0.

 

After 9 years Leica M9 still takes good photos, and now even better, especially if we take into account the development of Lightroom.

True! The M9 is a great camera! The M10 is much better!

Not sure what you are trying to demonstrate here. The M10 image looks much better. As it should.

He was not demonstrating that; OP stated that the M9 is still very good with the newer LR. That is a very clear and logically legitimate statement where nobody needs to be doubtfull about.

Reinterpretation of old RAW files using the latest software is often a revelation. I often go back to photos taken on S2Pros and D2Xs and am often pleasantly surprised as to how much better the output files can look compared with those produced at the time.

Engine 10 on C1: phew! A very noticeable change already in update from 8 to 9 also
