Leica store said they don’t see any their inventory production date after 2017, most are made in 10/2016.... I bought one in mid October 2017, and after looking at the inspection card I see it was made in Sept 2016? Like I said - I dont think it makes any difference - great camera. What those batches are, how many get produced and what the sales figures are - projected and actual - we don't know. That is information which Leica tends not to share.
