One of my favorite snapshots of my wife from 2015, swinging on a rope swing in our "forest" lot.  M9, VC Nokton 35 1.4 version 1.

M9 new sensor, Summicron-M 35 ASPH V1, picture taken today. Although not a particularly original image, this camera+lens is still a winning combination IMHO.

M9 50mm Summicron.  I traded in the camera due to sensor corrosion but I definitely miss it at times!

New to me today 😀 M-E typ 220, replaced ccd (ID15, Leica confirmed), 3300 actuations.

I was surprised at how much nicer it feels to use than the three M8s I've had in the past.  Nicer too to use than my (now sold) M typ 262 and M-P typ 240...  The lens is a Voigtlander VMII 28mm f/2.8 Color Skopar ASPH.

Hmm six dust spots on the sensor 🙃 obviously wasn't cleaned before sending out...  four swabs some sensor fluid, a blower and half an hour later, no spots!

My recently purchased M9-P had a filthy sensor when it arrived, it also took ages to get clean.

To be fair the vendor (a shop) apologised profusely and offered to clean it for me but rather than send it back and wait I did it myself, they offered me a service on my 75mm Summarit f2.5 for half price as compensation so I was happy.

I was out on a ride this afternoon and I thought I'd stop and take a shot of my motorcycle, in the Tank Bag is a Domke F6 with my M9s in it. This shot is with one of them and the 21mm Elmarit M f2.8.

This one with the M9-P above and 35mm Summicron.

I love that there is hardly any processing required with these files just open in LR, apply a simple Thorsten Overguard preset and resize for upload.

I must investigate some of these presets.  I've just been adjusting highlights, a bit of saturation adjustment and exporting at the size to upload to the forum.
