This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants. The reason is twofold: Overposting drowns out the other posts and, as important, if one floods a thread, the viewers lose interest and won't even look at those posts any more. Advertisement (gone after registration)

I was trolling around one of Florida's larger cities last evening looking for something to photograph with my Q3.  Both were taken using my common night street settings of 1/125 & f1.8.  The first was at ISO 6400 and the 2nd was 5000.  The shadows in the first photograph were from a street lamp.  The second:  Doesn't everyone have an alligator in the lobby of their business?

Energetic Preaching SL3S with Apo Summicron SL 35. I was surprised with the accuracy and stickiness of the Eye and Body tracking mode. two green boses on his eyeballs gave me great confidence that focus was good.

Colour Street - I was grabbing pedestrians against the van colour for about five minutes. The complex shadows/bright exposures made things awkward so I gave up. This file wasn't too bad and I was able to tame a few clipped bright areas. SL3S with Summicron SL 50 Asph
