Trying to identify and locate this strap , I foolishly sold one on a M6 awhile back and only have this one left on my MD - 262 .. it's the best strap I've ever used , any help in finding another would be greatly appreciated , they are around 20 years old .. regards PG

Yep - M4-2/P strap - was my favorite for a while in the 80s.

One word of warning - make sure your camera has steel ferrules lining the holes in the strap lugs (or steel lugs). I put one of those M4-2 straps on an early Nikon F (brass lugs without steel reinforcement liners) - and the sharp-edged tool-steel "coathangers" of the Leica strap carved away at the Nikon's brass lug holes until the lugs were down to paper thinness after a year or so. Fortunately I noticed this before the lugs failed altogether, and sent the camera to Nikon for new (steel-lined) lugs.
