One word of warning - make sure your camera has steel ferrules lining the holes in the strap lugs (or steel lugs). I put one of those M4-2 straps on an early Nikon F (brass lugs without steel reinforcement liners) - and the sharp-edged tool-steel "coathangers" of the Leica strap carved away at the Nikon's brass lug holes until the lugs were down to paper thinness after a year or so. Fortunately I noticed this before the lugs failed altogether, and sent the camera to Nikon for new (steel-lined) lugs. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
