Yawn.

This thread is like starting a posting and saying. "this morning I went out and came back in the evening." Who cares?

Post an exciting picture, discuss photographers like Micheal Ackerman, or ask questions on a problem with your camera gear. But this...? If this is what interests you, you'd better worry about the mental health of your spouse or partner.

Really? Nothing more interesting in your photography life?

Alone in Bangkok essay on BURN Magazine

What makes you the forum police? Sure it's a light weight topic. But it's just bit of fun for memebrs to contribute. You could have ignored the post if it didn't interest you and move on. You could have started a post on a topic you find interesting. But all you had was a snide comment, spoiling a bit of fun for others.

Perhaps the issue isn't the topic but your need to lighten up a bit?

I'm intrigued. What is this?

A white balance card is a small card with 100 % neutral gray color. It saves a lot of work when editing. I just take an extra picture of the card in the same light as the main subject, and in the photo editing software I click on the card in the picture to set the white balance. The colors get perfect in just one click! Then I copy the white balance settings over to the other pictures from the same place.

Absolutely indispensable!

I had an M240 for years. I just got my M10 and sold the 240. I have the camera and 2 lenses for day trips, for big trips I take 3 lenses.

24mm Lux

35mm Lux

90mm Summicron

I also have a Noctilux. When I bring that out I usually don't bring any other lenses.

I also have a me-foto tripod that I bring sometimes.
